University Place

A small neighboring community to the University Park Golf & Country Club, University Place is a newer gated community created in 2001 with just over 400 homes ranging from two to four bedrooms with 1,300 - 3,500 square feet.  Four builders built the homes, Neal Communities, Bruce Williams Homes, Inland Homes and Lee Wetherington Homes.  The community was built on 150 acres with 15 ponds, a large lake, two nature trails and is home to much wildlife. There are also 2 large community pools.  One caters to the children with a mini park and the other to the adults with lap lanes and a hot tub.  Residents are allowed up to 3 dogs of any size. There is a nearby park on Cooper Creek Blvd. that has 2 lighted tennis courts a large playground and meadow.

Palm Aire Country Club

The Palm Aire Country Club opened in 1957 and was originally called The Desoto Lakes Golf Club.  It encompasses two 18-hole private golf courses, a fitness center and tennis courts.  Memberships range from Social, Seasonal and Full-Time for golfing and tennis.  You will find one bedroom condominiums from around $100,000, villas and single family homes.  Homes range from 2,000 to over 4,200 sq. ft  and are priced from $300,000 to the upper $600,000's.

The newest neighborhood of Treymore is gated.  The Carlyle neighborhood has a community pool and tennis courts. Avalon is a gated neighborhood with villa style homes and a community pool.  The Golf Pointe neighborhood has a combination of condominiums, villas and maintenance-free single family homes with community pools.

The Meadows
