The city of Palmetto in southwest Florida runs from Terra Ceia Bay west to the Manatee River north of Bradenton as well as an area north of Ellenton and west of Parrish. You will find luxury condos and single family homes on the waterfront as well as homes more inland close to both I-75 and 275 with easy access to Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Riviera Dunes is a luxury boating community consisting of several neighborhoods of single family homes and condominiums. It is located just north of Bradenton near 301 along the Manatee River. Drive just south to Manatee Avenue, then head west and you will find the beaches of Anna Maria Island.

Island at Riviera Dunes

Island at Riviera Dunes is a gated, boating community with a deep water marina and community boat ramp. Amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center, community pool and tennis courts. Many homes have private pools and docks and run in the $1,000,000 range.

Laguna at Riviera Dunes

This condominium community is also a gated waterfront complex. Two large pets are allowed to each residence. There is a public boat ramp and boat docks are available. You will also find a community pool, fitness room and tennis courts. Monthly fees include sewer, trash and water. Enjoy the Florida lifestyle with the "lock and leave" convenience of maintenance free living!

Northshore at Riviera Dunes

Northshore is a unique community of maintenance-free single family homes. Homes have 3 - 4 bedrooms with 2 - 4 baths and are priced from the mid-$300,000s to just under $1,500,000. The gated community is built around a deep water, sheltered harbor with marina and boat docks for sale or rent. Boats have access to the Intercoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico. Amenities include a community pool, clubhouse, tennis, security, fitness room and nature trail around the harbor.

Sanctuary Cove

Lennar is building luxury homes in this waterfront community along the Manatee River. Home sizes run between 2,000 to 3,500 square feet priced from the $400,000s to mid-$600,000s. Luxury features include quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and porcelain tile. You will find a 210 slip marina with lifts, nature preserve and beach area for kayaking and paddleboarding. You can also enjoy the resort-style community pool, fitness center and clubhouse with internet café.

Artisan Lakes

The Artisan Lakes community is in the northern area of Palmetto with easy access to Tampa via I-75 and St. Pete and Clearwater on 275. You can also reach Bradenton and the beaches of Anna Maria to the south.

Esplanade at Artisan Lakes

Esplanade is a maintenance-free, active lifestyle, gated single family home community. It features Tuscan-style homes with tile roofs and has a full-time lifestyle director. You find a heated resort-style pool, hot tub, pickleball and tennis courts, fitness center, playground, dog park, gas grills and fire pits. Home building began in 2015 and new homes are being built by Taylor Morrison featuring 2 bedroom + den and 3 bedroom homes with 2-3 baths from 1,687 - 3,275 square feet priced in the $200,000s to $400,000s.

Eave's Bend at Artisan Lakes

You don't find new construction homes in the $200,000s in many places in southwest Florida any more but you will find them here, built by Meritage Homes. Homes are between 1,500 to 2,500 square feet with 3 - 4 bedrooms and 2 - 3 baths.
