    PARRISH | Southwest FL Real Estate

    The city of Parrish in southwest Florida is east of I-75 and north of Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch. Because the land is farther east of the beach areas (but still less than an hours drive to them) it is more affordable to the builders.  You tend to find larger homes for a more affordable price than you will find in new construction in the Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch areas.  Many homes have larger lots also. You will find more affordable family homes along with luxury homes on the banks of the Manatee River.  New construction is still going on in the area.

    Harrison Ranch

    Harrison Ranch is a gated community with single family homes from the low $200,000s to $400,000 that range from just under 2,000 to over 4,000 square feet. This is an active lifestyle community with a junior Olympic style pool, playground, tennis courts, a 7,000 square foot community center with fitness room and a full time activity director, bbq areas and 5 miles of nature trails.  

    River Wilderness

    River Wilderness is a gated waterfront community located on the Manatee River with a private, member-owned Golf and Country Club.  You will find homes built from the early to late 2000's priced from near $300,000 to over $1,500,000 ranging from 2,000 to over 5,000 square feet.  This is an active community with a boat ramp and 3,800 square foot athletic center with fitness, tennis and swimming programs.  You will also find a playground, driving range and chipping and putting greens.  The 27,000 square foot clubhouse offers dining and activity groups with an active social calendar.

    Twin Rivers

    The community of Twin Rivers is built between the Manatee River and Gamble Creek.  New construction is going on in 2018-2019 by both M/I Homes and Medallion Homes. Amenities include a soccer field, basketball and beach-volleyball courts, playground, picnic pavilion, hiking trails as well as a boardwalk along the Manatee River where you can fish, boat and kayak. Homes feature 3 - 6 bedrooms with 3 - 4 baths from 2,300 - 4,500 square feet priced from the mid-$300,000's to $850,000.  You have the best of both worlds, a beautiful river-front community that is tucked away from the crowds! 

    Canoe Creek

    Neal Communities is building over 600 homes on 304 acres located near Fort Hamer Road and Upper Manatee River Road.  Homes will be priced from $245,000 to just under $400,000 with 2 - 4 bedrooms and 2 - 3 baths from just under 1,500 to over 3,000 square feet.  A large amenity center will be in the center of the community with a clubhouse, large pool and spa, fitness room, pickleball courts and dog park.  It will also have a lifestyle director to coordinate events and activities for the residents.  Contact us for more information on homes in this community!
