    NORTH PORT | Southwest FL Real Estate

    North Port in southwest Florida is west of the cities of Venice and Englewood and north of Port Charlotte in Sarasota County. This inland city has had a growth spurt as land nearer the beaches and the Gulf of Mexico have experienced more building and higher prices.  You will find older homes with no deed restrictions as well as newer communities with many amenities in a wide price range.  New construction is still going on in the area.

    Bobcat Trail

    Bobcat Trail is a gated community with over 400 maintenance-free single family homes and 110 villas with prices ranging from the high $200,000s to the mid-$600,000s with approx. 2,000 to over 3,000 square feet.  They offer 3 - 4 bedrooms with 2 - 4 baths built in the early to mid 2000s.  This is an active lifestyle community with a community pool, fitness center, tennis and bocce ball courts and walking and biking trails.  It also hosts the Charlotte Harbor National Golf Course with a clubhouse and Pro Shop.  A golf membership is NOT required by the homeowners. 

    Cedar Grove

    You will find homes in Cedar Grove built from the mid-2000s to new construction by Centex homes in 2018.  They have 3 - 5 bedrooms with 2 - 3 baths priced from $200,000 to $400,000 ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 square feet.  The community has a playground, community pool with cabana and bbq grills.  Great for families of all sizes!  

    Cypress Falls at the Woodlands

    Cypress Falls is a gated Del Webb community and one of the few single family home/villa communities in the area catering to the 55+ age group.  Homes were built starting in 2006 and new construction is still going on in 2018-2019 by Pulte Homes.  Amenities include a putting green, pickleball and bocce ball courts, a clubhouse with internet café and fitness center, resort-style pool & spa as well as tennis courts.  Homes feature 2 - 4 bedrooms with 2 - 3 baths from 1,300 to just over 2,000 square feet priced between $200,000 to $350,000. A full-time activity director will help you find "Fun in the Sun" all year round!

    Heron Creek

    Heron Creek homes are found in the Heron Creek Golf & Country Club which features a 27 hole golf course and 21,000 square foot clubhouse with fine and casual dining along with a community pool, fitness center and tennis courts.  Homes are priced from just under $200,000 to over $500,000 with 2 - 4 bedrooms and 2 - 3 baths from just under 1,500 to over 3,500 square feet.  A golf or social membership IS required by all homeowners.  Contact us for more information on the homes in this community!
